Llano Memorial Healthcare System demonstrates our commitment to building healthy communities; by offering Health Fairs in the communities we serve.  This is just one of our outreach services, but by far the one that touches the most lives. 

Services offered at our health fairs include blood tests for cholesterol and PSA, blood sugar, hemoglobin which is a screen for anemia,  BMI (Base Metabolism Index also referred to as body composition analysis), blood pressure screenings, hearing and eye screening, healthy heart evaluation, diabetes education, and cancer awareness information to name a few.  Other providers of health related services are invited to participate as well. 

All services at our health fairs are free with the exception of a nominal charge for the PSA screen.  Area residents have come to look forward to their community’s health fair.  For some people, screenings at a health fair may be the only medical services they receive during the year.
