The connection between the Hoerster name and quality medial care in Llano and the Highland Lakes area began a couple of generations ago. Originally, Dr. Henry Hoerster opened his practice in Llano in the early 30’s. His brother, Dr. Dan Hoerster, joined him in practice in 1953, and that was the beginning of the Hoerster Clinic. Dr. Dan’s son, Dr. David Hoerster, carried on the family tradition when he joined the family practice in 1981. The clinics operated as private practices in Llano, Kingsland and Marble Falls until the mid 1990’s when Llano Memorial Healthcare System assumed operations as rural health clinics.

Hoerster Clinic Llano offers primary health care, obstetrics, well child/sick child, immunizations, laboratory, radiology services, and minor surgical procedures.
