Mother-baby care begins here at Llano Memorial Hospital, the only hospital that provides Perinatal Services in the area of Llano, Burnet, San Saba and Mason Counties.

Our Family Center setting provides a safe and positive environment providing the best environment for you and your baby. With a team effort from our physicians, trained OB nurses and anesthesia staff, we strive to provide new families with the ultimate delivery experience.

Our "birthing rooms" make it possible for the mother, baby and father to remain in the same room from labor, delivery and early postpartum period, often until discharge from the hospital. We encourage breast-feeding because mother’s milk helps to build the baby’s immune system. Our dedicated staff is supportive in helping mothers manage breast-feeding difficulties should they arise.
 

Prepared Childbirth Classes are offered once a month on Saturdays at no charge. We encourage the birthing coach to actively participate in the labor and delivery process.
